Choosing the right cage & deep bedding

Continuous floor space is essential so your hamster can explore without feeling cramped. Always fill the bottom with 6–8 inches of paper-based or aspen bedding. This satisfies their natural urge to burrow, build tunnels, and sleep comfortably.
